Putting a photo on your CV – is it a good idea or not? Approach with caution say the AUT Student Employability and Careers team, who are in regular contact with employers, HR managers and recruitment agencies about job applications and CVs.

Don't look a gift horse in the mouth when employers or HR managers turn up on campus with the express purpose of meeting you, their potential future employees. They're coming into your territory so make the most of the opportunity and get out there and meet them.
