Employability & Careers

AUT Employability and Careers focus on helping you develop the skills to stand out to employers when looking for a work placement or graduate job.

What this involves

Our team not only help you develop your CV and cover letters, interview, networking and social media skills, they also bring employers and leaders onto campus to talk about their industries, internships, graduate programmes. This creates lots of opportunities for you to meet potential employers.

Book online through Elab Online to book into a workshop or presentation.

The team are also experts in helping you untangle your career dreams and challenges, whatever they may be. To get an individual appointment, book through Elab Online.

The AUT Edge Award is run by the Employability and Careers team, as are the Employability Matters events.

Where are we?

Workshops and one-on-one appointments are run in the  Employability Lab space (WA 202) on City Campus or at the Student Hubs on South and North Campuses.

The Employability Lab is also the location for employer presentations and leadership speakers. You can also find hard copies of the Future Career Sheets in the Lab.

You are welcome to pop in any time.
