We are Employability and Careers! And yes, I know we may not be top of your priorities as you settle into finding your way around right now, but you will want to get to know us if you're serious about landing a great career.

Our team can help you work out what you want to do and build up a profile to find a job in an area you love.

So once you’ve settled in, come visit us at the Employability Lab on City campus or at the Student Hubs at North and South Campuses. We don’t bite!

We're the team that helps you get your CV and cover letter up to scratch, write a good LinkedIn profile, come up with a great intro pitch (elevator pitch) to employers and network with employers.

If you're too busy to visit immediately, then sign up to Elab Online – our online base - to connect and get informed about our workshops, employer events, career fairs and other career related support.

Employability and Careers also offer the AUT Edge Award and Beyond AUT Award (postgraduate). These employability awards help you increase your skills and confidence through volunteering and leadership – and employers love to see this on your CV.
