I don’t know about you, but I’m an expert procrastinator. I pride myself on finding ways to do everything except what I should be doing, especially if it is something I am unsure about, like writing my CV and cover letter. Are you like that?

Don't fret. At AUT the Employability and Careers Team are extremely good at providing lots of support and guidance to help relieve the pressure. There are also many free CV and cover letter resources you can access.

Wherever you are in your job search journey, utilise our free resources and make your CV a portal into an employer’s heart.

But how you may ask?

1. CV and cover letter check-up – get a 10 minute one-on-one appointment with one of our specialists who will give you feedback on your CV.
2. CV Drop box – upload your CV online to get feedback from our team within 48 hours.
3. CV and cover letter workshop –attend this workshop on how to write a CV, tailor it to the job you’re applying for and market yourself to prospective employers.
4. CV templates – download examples to help develop your CV.
5. CV resources – learn the tips and tricks to help design and tailor your CV to the position you’re applying for.

CV WEEK

Make the most of CV Week 6-9 August. Over this week our staff will be on all campuses to do on-the-spot CV checks & workshops. This is your chance to see how your CV stands up and whether you need to take advantage of the other support on offer.
